It can be a challenge to find companies that exist purely as a service to the global public. DomainFest Asia was able to locate the premier steward of the public interest on the Internet—the Public Interest Registry, managers of .ORG, .NGO, and .ONG—to share a presentation and learn how they can be of service to you. Founded in 2002 by the Internet Society, another public interest group, PIR serves non-profit entities around the world with domain names and other related services.
